Things to note

• To complete your reservation correctly, it is mandatory to provide us with a clear copy of all passengers' valid passports at the time of booking.
• Egypt: Mandatory tips of $55 per person for the Nile Cruise are not included in the price and must be paid at the destination. These are the ONLY mandatory tips you will be required to pay during this tour. Tipping for the rest of the trip is optional, but keep in mind that tipping is an important part of Egyptian culture and that it is commonplace for service providers to ask for tips. In these cases, it is up to your personal discretion whether to tip or not.
• This trip is not suitable for a person with reduced mobility due to the nature of the excursions and the terrain.
• However, please note that this tour can be taken privately. There will be a private guide and a specifically designed itinerary to ensure maximum enjoyment. The excursions will be taken via alternative routes with ease of access and the pace will be dictated by the passenger.
• To take part in the private tour it is required that the person with reduced mobility is accompanied by a dedicated person at all times, to assist in any necessary situations, such as getting in and out of the transport vehicle, on excursions, and so on.
• *Documentation of the internal flights will be delivered at the destination.
• Please note the following luggage allowances for your internal flight in Egypt:
• Checked luggage allowance is between 21-23 kg (46-50 lbs)
• Hand luggage (carry-on) allowance is 8 kg (17 lbs)
• **The allocated cruise ship may be changed due to routine maintenance, in which case you will be allocated a cruise of the same or higher category.
• ***The itinerary indicated for Egypt corresponds to Sunday arrivals. Depending on the day of departure the order of the itinerary will be as follows:
• Sunday: 1 night Cairo, 4 nights Nile Cruise, 2 nights Cairo
• The order of the excursions and visits may vary, depending on the schedule of the internal flights, traffic and other logistical reasons. The planned visits will be carried out in any case.
• Alternatively, for a full experience of Egypt, you can choose one of our optional excursion packages to add 3/4 optional excursions to your trip!
• This is a fast-paced itinerary that includes a comprehensive number of sights and activities in order to give you the most complete experience of Egypt! You can expect several early morning departures and a full daily schedule of activities.
• Please note: please be aware that the ship's Wi-Fi connection is dependent on satellite coverage and that there are sections of the cruise in which Wi-Fi will not be available. High-speed Wi-Fi is available to use in port only, for an extra fee of $8 USD per day.
• It is essential to fill in the passport information correctly for each passenger in the given boxes at the end of the reservations process.
• Zimbabwe: If you have booked any of the optional activities in Victoria Falls, it is not necessary to purchase a visa for Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Instead, you can buy the KANZA UNIVISA. The KAZA UNIVISA costs USD 50 and allows tourists to obtain one visa to visit Zambia and Zimbabwe multiple times. The visa is valid up to 30 days in any given period of 12 months, as long as the holder remains between those countries. It also covers those who visit Botswana for day-trips through Kazungula Borders and it can be purchased on arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport.
• South Africa: Make the most out of your time in South Africa! Why not add one of the optional excursion packages during the next step of the booking process (it’s only possible to do one of the two).
• Gastronomic Package: two meals in Cape Town’s top restaurants, a Bo-Kaap Cooking Tour and Cape Winelands Excursion.*
• *Please note: a minimum of 4 participants are required in order for the Gastronomic Package to operate. If there are not enough participants, it will be cancelled and you will be refunded when you return from your trip.
• Adventure Package: a Full-Day Kruger Game Drive, an exciting Shark Cage Diving Experience, and an Atlantis Dunes Quad Biking Excursion.*
• *Please note: Children are not allowed to take part in the Adventure package.
• Please note on optional excursions and packages: before selecting optional excursions, please check the inclusions of the optional excursion packages to ensure you are not selecting an excursion already included in your chosen package.
• Please note:
• * The Winelands visit cannot be combined with the Adventure Package due to an overlap of activities.
• * The Full-Day Peninsula Excursion cannot be combined with the Gastronomic or Adventure packages due to an overlap of activities.
• * Only one optional activity can be selected per day.
• * You must choose between either the Gastronomic Package or the Adventure Package. It is not possible to do both.
• Kenya:
• **** Travelers must bring their own refillable water bottles. Although there will be 500 ml reusable bottles for sale with a price of USD 10 each, the proceeds from which will be donated to entities dedicated to nature conservation.
• Roads in Kenya can be quite bumpy and are not in great condition, particularly those found in the country’s national parks. People who suffer with back problems should consider this before participating in a trip of this nature.
• The safari takes place in a vehicle with space for seven passengers, with one passenger seated next to the driver.
• The luggage compartment of these vehicles is limited, so for the safety and comfort of all, each person may only carry one soft duffel bag of maximum 10kg.
• The rest of the luggage can be left in the Nairobi hotel storage room at no extra cost. It will be identified with a tag and will be collected on return from the safari.
• During your stay at Aberdares National Park, warm clothes will be required as the nights can be particularly cold in this region of Kenya.
